The Healing Rose

I did this oil painting while a few of my friends were going through treatment for Breast Cancer. I felt thir confusion on their many decisions that had to be made after their initial diagnosis. I did not intend to do a Breast Cancer painting but just a still life with a simple rose. But this is what came out. It was meant to be so I went with it.
